I know the point of this thread isn’t about t shirts, it’s about an awesome meet that’s in the works. But I wanted to take a second and thank each of you who did order shirts. We are doing well. So far the extra donation that we’ve been able to raise is great.

I will reveal what that shirts raised once the event has concluded. It will be up to @crashngiggles if we release the total amount from raffles and other fund raising.

Yes we will be counting everything up at the end, giving the total number, making the donation, and then posting the confirmation of the donation at the end of the thread. This has turned out so amazing that I have never imagined it would morphed into what it has. A lot of people have asked me on the side why I am doing this and what is my connection to "autism speaks." First of all, in my day job, I see so many families that are experiencing the difficulties of a family member with Autism. My nephew as well as a close personal friends son both have autism and I know the difficulties as well as lack of help out there for these families. Donations like these help towards programs, summer camps, and respite for families that have a child with Autism. Without it, I know that children like my nephew would not be able to experience a summer camp with people who understand how to work with people who have Autism. When I started this, I have never though the TW community would come together this much but it makes me work that much harder to make sure that everyone has a great time and no problems arise. I want to also thank a lot of people that have reached out to me to help both before the meet and at the meet. You know who you are and your help is greatly appreciated. I will be leaning on you soon.....lol. I also want to thank @LivinLoud (TJ) for being my right hand man on this and coming up with things that I haven't thought up yet and following through. To all of the others, I will be reaching out a week before the meet and coordinating what each person can do to help and still have fun and time at the meet. In the end, this is going to be a meet for the ages and I hope that everyone has a great time and meet some great people.

Thanks Jared, but that’s what friends are for and I’m happy to help you on this journey. It’s a pleasure to be a part of something bigger myself. Now let’s set the bar for the rest of the community for what a TW Meet really is!

To add to the photography I’ll be doing at the event. I’ll also be doing Arial Drone footage of the event. We could post it on the forum or I could sent it to whoever wants it. Probably could use it as a commercial for future events

Be careful to keep it out of hostile airspace :plane:
For real, sounds like a cool idea! I might set up my hi-lift jack so peeps can see if they like it or have clever ideas to show me. It might be cool if others have something they’d like to demonstrate, as a lot of stuff I read about but have not had my hands on.

Yeah I’ve been checking, in that zone I should be good under 200 feet.

That’s a good idea, I still have lots of plans for my truck, but seeing the stuff I’m interested in, in person, would really help decisions

I’m sure it will be fine. I was attempting a subtle Drone Joke tied to our commander in chiefs antics but keeping actual political commentary out of it! :)
