Don't want this to turn into another rope hook discussion. I would very much consider a LineX job for my truck, but I called some shops and a normal paint job was cheaper. Me personally - I prefer traditional glossy automotive paint so that's what I'd go with.

Just a matter of personal opinion.

Anyone happen to have a 3.4 crank pulley off their truck?

I need to know the exact dimensions of the LARGER pulley measured across from the top of the belt ribs to top of belt rib, not the pulley ears included.
I’m trying to get some exact calculations at what the supercharger spins with different snout pulleys.

    Thanks in advance

You could use a small wood type clamp for the width
Or an overall dimension and minus the height of the ears of the pulley times two for both sides.
Not sure what the ears height is

screw the rope hooks lol they suck hard

not sure how you mean a 'normal' paint job being cheaper than a Line-X job
was I not seeking a 'normal' paint job for my pickup box when I was quoted nearly $4k to fix all the plastic drop-in liner abrasions?

or perhaps i joined in mid discussion and you are talking Line-X the ENTIRE truck?

Yeah what did the installer of that spray in liner say about that big bubble? He try telling you it's normal? I guess did you research to see what it it was and best solution so you didn't have to trust what that jackhole told you?

he just popped it like a pimple and put a patch over it
told me to keep an eye on it and if gets bad may have to cut out that section completely and redo that area
I am wondering if his 'helper / assistant / lackey' is the one that prepared the surface. It's his own business so I would assume he wants to do good work or get a bad reputation but the piss-on hires sometimes are lacking respect for the work they do.

just as this Toyota mechanic at local dealer that fucked my engine compartment up, broke a ~$2000 part and just fucking LEFT it covered in hiding until i found the rest of his shitjob MONTHs later

guess I will go to the other dealer this morning that sucessfully removed 7 out of 8 rope hook bolts how much they want to fix this shit mess
i am going to estimate more than $200 ... maybe $300?

These things happen all the time,
I did my tire rotation and balance two weeks ago and yesterday I decided to remove the right rear tire
    to to some frame cleaning.
Well two of the wheel bolts were cross threaded and they wouldn’t come off now.
Going to have to take the truck to the dealership and have the air impact snap them off and have
new bolts pressed in this week sometime.
It’s how things just go with cheap labor

I’m talking entire truck. LineX wanted a few thousand more than what a good glossy paint job would cost.

Its like 3-5k for a linex job. Its probably 3k plus for a full spray of you wanna do everything with all the dents fixed. If you just wanted a single coat spray then its cheaper
