I got a lead on a grille for my project truck but the seller cant ship. Was hoping to see if anyone would pick it up and see if we can TW Express it to Houston or San antonio

Hey what's going on TTC!! Happy Saturday!

So I have a question for you all and I hope someone can maybe help me out. I had my lifts installed in January this year. Well it's just now starting to squeak, I don't mean the lift specifically, but the suspension parts more or less. Sounds like the leaf springs are a little squeaky. Truck rides fine no issues there. Just wondering if there's something I can spray on the undercarriage and on the moving joints such as the leaf springs and other things that would reduce this long-term. Maybe a lithium grease or something alike.

    Recommendations?

It's probably the leaf spring bushings., it's a common issue They aren't bad to swap, grab some poly bushings and grease 'em

It's the leaf springs. Toyota pickups are known for being squeaky. There's a TSB for third gens out there that gets you new bushings which helps but if you wheel it it will eventually squeak.

I power wash the leafs when I wheel dirty to get the grime out and that seems to stop the squeaking. Some guys use wd40 but it only lasts a few weeks. It's just a thing. Better get used to it haha.

Pretty much this, lol. I sprayed 'em with wd40 once and after a week they came back significantly worse. +1 for powerwasher treatment

Thats an expensive quest you're setting yourself up for bud lol. Poly bushings and grease will help but it won't last

I don't even wheel that often at all and as best I try to stick to sandy terrain and away from mud.

Oh well, I guess I'll see what I can do and report back

Good to know it's not just me though

It's definitely not just you, second and third gens have both had recalls for leaf related issues.

For sure. Google the TSB for squeaky leafs. May get better bushings for free if you're willing to take it to a dealer.
