Anyways i think it would be intriguing to get in on some exciting fights that have recently happened AJ vs Andy Ruiz, the upcoming rematch, one coming up on Saturday and many others! So who else is watching pacman vs Thurman and what are your predictions.

    Big Boxing fan here.
Looking forward to seeing this fight, Thurman has been doing lots of talking let's see if he's going to walk the walk and talk the talk.

Josesito Lopez gave Thurman that work in January. I'm taking Pacquiao per Knockout or decision!

Noice!!! He has, in a very corny way too, like it seems he is like a failed actor who took on boxing:rofl: but some stuff he said were out of line when he started talking about religion, but hey mohammad ali was there so...

My heart wants pacman ro knock him out, but ill be honest id prefer him do what he did to margarito, give him a beating

can’t agree anymore I’ll rather see him punish Thurman than knock him out.

Seems like we follow each other on IG (moddedtacomas) I had Ruiz winning the first time and I think Ruiz will win the rematch per Knockout again.

The only loser to this fight is Wilder to be honest. Both Ruiz and Joshua will make over 30-40 million for the rematch.

I’m predicting Wilder loses vs Ortiz. I think Ortiz will come out looking for an early knockout. We’ve seen what Ortiz can do round 7 if I recall correctly.

    We do:eek:

Interesting! I have AJ doing a comeback, eventhough id like ruiz to take it because it will have HW wide open with fights. Not a wilder fan, he didnt appear to me as an intelligent fighter when he fought fury. I like how ortiz fights and yea i agree with you he will bring the fight early on, but hopefully he doesnt run out of steam

I don't want to see that. It will be similar shit from the first fight. Mayweather will not take loss so he's do what he does best, run around and counter.

I hear you and i was as disappointed as many were to see floyd play the chicken run around, eventhough i believe pacman beat floyd. Also last time pacman was injured, i think this time he will bring the heat to floyd and will want to go for the KO and i think the money will be very tempting for floyd. This will top floyd vs connor

I wouldn't hold my breath judging from how long it took to set up the first one. I would have liked to see this fight happen 5 years earlier (2010 vs 2015) when they were both in their peaks.

I love boxing and here to support the thread.

I never stepped in the ring in an official fight, but I fought many rounds with amateurs preparing for fights. I know how it is to fight going 100% against a skilled opponent.

The reason I stopped sparing hard and never competed is because I was too afraid of brain injuries. I've been knocked down and done the same to others. I've had concussions and they suck. I still train regularly and spar lightly, but that's it (I'm too old anyways for any significant competitions).

I love the sport, but it's tough.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Its interesting to hear the experience from people who went through it a d what they have learned. To your point its the risk reward, i mean look at what Ali achieved and how he had to live part of his life, :(. I wouldnt see it as fear, you recognized the risks from your experience and you made the right call for you:thumbsup: its good exercise i think you can vouch for that!

On one hand I'm happy I didn't compete, on the other hand I miss fighting. There is nothing like feeling your senses sharpen and the sense of immediate danger.

I never did bungee jumping, sky diving or any of that. I'm not an adrenaline junkie. The high that fighting gives you is a different type of high.

Then the rational mind kicks in and says "calm down, you idiot, you're not living in a cave anymore, fighting wild animals for survival!"... and it deflates my bubble :) Then I say "meh, not worth it".

It's excellent exercise though, and I recommend it to anyone who's serious about acquiring some self defense skills. Do 6 months of serious boxing and you'll be able to handle almost everything that the street throws at you. Do a few more months of kickboxing/muay thai and some takedown defense and you're set.
