    Hey guys and gals,

    driving down the road with my a/c on blast and all the sudden it got warmer and warmer and warmer than normal... scratching my head couldnt figure it out... I had my son turn the a/c on and off so the compressor works, the blower blows strong, it's just HoT... any experience with this issue 06 taco full cab full bed trd sport.

    What Ive noticed is the Tacoma has a Grille that has kinda huge holes in the front.. If you travel down a gravel road or a rock kicks up it can go through the grille and put a hole in the front condenser and you loose your Freon.. Had that same thing happen on my company Chrysler Mini Van..

    Very true. I installed some gutter screen - mesh or what ever you want to call it to protect tranny cooler and AC condenser on both of my old Dakota. The front valance under the bumper had huge openings (see pic) and during those days I did a lot of driving. Thie picture was taken before the "mesh mod."
