So while on a camping trip to crater lake, I let my friend borrow my truck to get some sunrise pictures of the lake. When she came back she said an animal ran out in front of her then ran off after hitting my truck. Based off the hieght and extent of the damage I was thinking maybe a small bear? Because a deer would cause damage higher up right? Anyways..... Does anyone in the bay area have a body shop that does really good work with paint matching? Maybe the scratches were already there and you didn't see them?

Deer antlers would scratch like that. But the antlers are still soft right now.

Look closely where the plastic cracked. There should be hair from the animal wedged into the cracks.

If there isn't a picture of a Tacoma, sunrise and Crater Lake in this thread shortly, I'm going to be disappointed. :boink:

Also, judging by the front left damage, I see a bada$$ steel bumper in your future. :burnrubber:

Because people are more forgiving of a animal running out in front of you then they are a person who's driving to fast and looses control.

I may or may not have made these same statements to my parents when I was younger.....
