So I bought icon stage 3 with front coilovers and rear shocks with resi 3 inch lift and was on a trail in VA about 6 weeks ago and both rear shocks busted where the resi hose goes into the shock.

I took it back to 4 wheel parts and they did help with an exchange. I told them i wanted to swap to Fox and they recommended to go to Fox 2.5 with resi (fox 880-06-418) for the front and they recommended Fox 2.0 with resi (fox 985-24-117) for the rear. Should I have done 2.5 in front or back or will I be ok with 2.0 in rear?

Not sure what the big difference is between the two except for they said the 2.5 in rear would have a little more fluid in the resi but for the little off road I do it would be better than what I had with Icon.

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

2.0 will be fine as long at the valving is set appropriately. (And I don’t see why they wouldn’t as I’m sure Fox uses the same data for both 2.0 and 2.5 setups). Both are better than Icon, so look at it that way.
