Does anyone need some stock third gen fog lights? They were sacrificed to the new bumper gods.

 

Wheelers bumps are actually not for 1st Gen. Partly because they are too tall... it may be why you keep cracking them.

I put a hole in each side up front on the upper fender liner area. My uca bolt punctured right thru. Talk about up travel

 

Dessert!

 

Not at 120... when right over one about 6' long once...never felt a thing.

 

Someone needs some sun screen...

Does anyone have interest in this stuff before I throw it away?

Stock 2016 long bed bedsides. The flares are cut as are the bedsides. They have a couple scratches here and there but nothing major. Stock exhaust from same truck. A few limiting straps. Some 8” (I think) Giant long travel shackles never used (250 retail). All for free. Must take all of it though.

Also, not for free, complete gym set up. Power rack with pull up bar, dip station. Adjustable bench. Olympic bar. Bunch of plates. Dumbbell Olympic bars with a bunch of ten pound plates. Curl bar same Olympic style. Clips. Then if you want some Adidas lifting shoes, knee sleeves from rock tape (5mm and 7mm), rogue lifting (Velcro style). The human gear is all pretty much brand new. This is well over 1k worth of stuff. I’m looking for 400 obo. I’ll post pics if anyone is interested.

Can any of you south bay folks recommend a shop experienced with alignments on lifted trucks? Need to add some more caster after my TC UCA pushed my wheels back a bit. Want to try this before aggressively redoing my CMC.

 

I went to a wheel works in south San Jose for my LT truck. For that exact reason. They were able to get more faster than other shop I went to in SLC (had a good one there too).

That’s the one I used.

Before that I got turned away from a couple of places because it was too wide. But that wheel works knew exactly what I wanted when I told them to add as much caster as they could.

 

Not good... Had to come home early.

We didn't leave out till late, when we got to around 5000ft (Long Barn) the truck boiled over out of the blue (10:00 last night). Sat on the side of the road for 30 minutes to let it cool down then babied up the road about 6 miles to the Cold Springs market... waited for everything to cool down enough to open the radiator cap. Was only about 1/3 gallon low... (most of which was probably lost to steam). Decided, fuck it... we're just gunna send it and get to our camp site (about 8 miles)... Didn't get set up and to sleep till 2AM.

Seemed like a better idea to go up to the camp site than to drive 1.5 hours back home.

But now we're back home, and I get to spend tomorrow figuring out what the fuck happened.

Ya, that's pretty much what I've been thinking since last night.

Going to flush the system, and flush the heater core specifically. Just ordered a T-stat and O-ring (just replaced with Toyota OEM a year and a half ago)... ((actually, just replaced T-stat, O-ring, water pump, radiator, and flushed the whole fucking system a year and a half ago))

 

Why do you think it’s the thermostat? That seems like an unlikely culprit.
