Finally got them on. Now I gotta work for these -38s offsets! Pinch weld, more trimming and another cmc

 

If I get the ome lift with the heavy duty springs and add spacer for an extra inch, will it prevent me from having to cmc and cut so much?

 

I wouldn't suggest placing a spacer lift on anything, it would defeat the purpose of getting a suspension lift vs spacer lift. To answer your question though, yes the higher you go the less you'll have to cut. The closer you are to a 3" lift the more likely you gotta change you UCAs

 

I figure the spacer will give that extra lift needed to overcome the extreme offset. UCA’s are a must.

 

Thats sick man. I had black ray10’s before and now bronze f5’s. Im switching back to the 17x9 ray 10’s but i cant decide black or bronze. I think you sold me on bronze

 

I'd you like the bronze on your f5's go bronze on the ray's.

I posted this on another section of the forums but maybe Ill get more input since everyone here has these wheels. Mine are rubbing on the front bottom corner of my bumper on this screw/mount thats holding on the fender liner. Has anyone trimmed this off? I took the screw out holding onto the liner and it doesn't seem like it'll be any issues cutting this off, Im about to just go ahead and do it and use a heat gun to bend the liner out of the way.

 

I cut the screw tab and liner trimmed up a hefty amount. It’ll be fine

 

Just got mine mounted today, had the matte black 17x8.5 ray 10’s before.

 

Do you still have your fender liners protecting the engine bay or when you do the pinch weld it no longer will sho back?

Did the same thing! On 285 75 17 tho = lots of trimming!

 

Sure are. I still need to trim driver side fender flare toward the bottom. Was peeling the liner/flare still at compression.

looking for pics of 315/70/17 on the 17x9’s, who’s got em?

 

If I run a 305/65/17 will that still need a lot of cutting? I'm running 6112's maxed out and Dirt Kings Uca's. I'd like to have a wider tire vs a taller. I'm used to driving cars and feel like I'm going to tip over.
