    I haven’t changed the belt so I’ll do that first. I’ll work out which one is vacuum and see what it’s doing.
    From 1000 to 3000 rpm it’s awesome, just after 3000 there is no boost at all. I just took it for a spin and noticed it’s 3000 when it cuts out.

    That is wrong. Well it's good for tapping into the blower itself but the issue is that the part in question the boost bypass valve is not there. It's further back. Here is a link to what it looks like. On ours it is at the very rear of the blower and at the bottom.

    Yeah your right. It’s right at the back of the sc. what a shit of a spot to get too.
    So the idea is to take off the vacuum line and see if it’s working. I also remember reading somewhere that there is a brass valve inside one of those hoses and to take it out.

    Yeah. It may come out when you pull the line. If not it will probably come out with a pull of the fingers. I’m pretty sure you’ll bleed pulling it out. It’s awful to get to. My fingers needed another joint.

    Yep I know which line your talking about now cause a while ago I read that is the line with the brass valve inside it so I tried to pull it off. I never got it! It was bloody hard! No that I definitely know it’s that hose I’ll have a better crack at it.

    Asked in the LT thread as well. But anyone have suggestions for a brand of driveshaft for me to look into other than oem? Mine took quite the beating on the Rubicon Trail. Dented the shaft and bent the f*ck out of the carrier bearing mount. Straightened the best we could on the trail but couldn’t do more than 65 mph on the 700 mile drive home.

    Good news is I got amazing mpg’s on the drive home. Saw almost 18 mpg. Time to rebuild stronger and better hopefully and then rebuild this one as a trail spare.
