Does your front skid have a big hole on the left side?

I think I've been just about everywhere the ASOT takes you except pots mtn. The area south of 64 on 81 is uncharted territory for me. I need to start researching around WVA. There has to be a ton of stuff out there.

How has just the awning room been for camping? I was Thinking about this instead of getting another RTT.

I’m thinking it is also multipurpose for a mosquito free hangout, rainy day hangout, lighter weight and blocks sun. Plus it’s only a couple hundred instead of over 1500.

Its been great so far. I have not had it in the rain or wind yet and am a bit nervous about that. Setup is maybe 15 minutes takedown is about 30.

If Im being really honest and could do it all over I would just buy a really good ground tent and save thousands. The awning saves me a few hundred pounds over a RTT but is anchored to the truck so once you set up your stuck. If I had a long bed I would just sleep in there.

I had a twin fold up memory foam mattress in the back of my truck under the softopper slept like a baby but my feet stuck out. Only good when bugs are not out and bears aren't around o_O

So we went exploring today and about 10 miles from the house we hit a trail that took us to a lake and some camp sitesFE2329DF-A35B-49CF-A7BD-EA15904B7942.jpg 6F2E6783-DDE9-4FEF-BB24-FB14907FAC31.jpg

We kept on the trail till we hit this sign. Not sure if it looks familiar to you.D7E6292A-331E-4874-AF35-75F44467FBC2.jpg

    23292FBC-8666-46B2-9B27-740F0A7E170A.jpg
We continued straight into West Virginia and found some primitive camp sights. A larger site had its own pond. It was a decent little ride with lots of nice views. I was hoping you would have been here before or knew of it. We bailed off onto 250 after a couple hours, but the gravel roads went on.
