Are your grills TSS compatible?

 

Shipping within in the state would really only run around $10 for a 1-day transit time, which I figure would be less than 3 hours worth of gas. Of course if you want to check out a grille in person, you're more than welcome to! Just let me know.

How does the TSS sensor mount in that location with just a hole? Does the factory garnish still work somehow?

So the TSS sensor will mount with the 2 provided screws, fender washers and nylon lock nuts. There's a smoked polycarbonate lens to help protect the sensor, and a matte black vinyl on the front to make it blend in (can change color or just leave the vinyl off if preferred). The brown protective paper on the back needs to be removed before placing the sensor, then tighten everything down, and make sure the plate is flush against the grille. Of course don't over tighten it or you'll crack the polycarbonate lens.

I of course have to recommend that you get this grille re-calibrated at the dealership before driving for legal reasons (although I don't think anyone tends to do that...).

I've had no reports of any false codes, but keep the lens clean and free of dirt.

 

I could make it, but at the moment I don't have anything measured/drawn to fit there. Its something I'll certainly be looking into in the future, but at the moment most of my time is taken up with custom builds for shows like SEMA, along with standard orders.

 

Anybody able to give me a dimension for the letters plate? I wanted to order some vinyl before my grill shows up so I can change the color out vs waiting for paint to dry.
