Due to illness, it’s time for me to clear out the stable a bit so this Tacoma or my M3 have to go, I’ve got three other trucks, and it's breaking my heart to have to let either of these vehicals go.

A couple of years ago, I bought this truck new, for an employee, but he lost vehicle privileges the first weekend he took it home, by smoking in it, at the time it had less then 100 miles on it, I guess he didn't like that new truck smell (some folks kids)[IMG] He is no longer with us, so as the title implies, this Tacoma's for sale.

I spent about $26,500 on it new, added Undercover& Step bars, it Blue Books at $23,480 Private Party Value
    I’m looking to get $ 23,400.

I don't know if this is the place for it but the M3 is a special order, Factory Competition Package, well equip, with 37,XXX I'm asking $34,500

Located in the Tampa Bay Area.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Very nice cars. My DD is an 05 M3 as well. M3 is priced way too high. E46s have dropped in value quite significantly. Good luck though!

Yes, I’m pushing the envelope on the M3, however this car, with these options, and low mileage books at $31,950 private party $35,750 retail.
I bought it as a keeper, no one else even had a chance to test drive the car, and over rev it during the break in period. I’ve doubled up on the oil and filter changes; it’s been well taken care of from day one.
It’ll be hard for anyone to find one in this good a shape.
No, I don’t really want to sell it, but I will.

You will hear the same story (most of them true) with 99% of M3s on the market. M3s are pampered by most owners. E46s are nice, but not as special as their owners think they are. It's a 10 year old platform and used prices have recently started to reflect that (unfortunately for owners like you and me)

    Good luck man!

As a fellow M3 owner... the price is a tad too high.

    Here's mine;

I would jump on it. Like tomorrow.

Do a review of threads on m3forum.net - prices being reported in second hand market for E46s are much lower. The E90 M3 is almost 3 years old and beginning to hit the used scene with regularity.

Interestingly, I just turned 37k on my 05 also! I will be selling it next summer when the CPO and extended maintenance plans run out. E90, here I come!

I would have replaced it with a new M3 already, but I don’t like the way they feel, there too big and heavy, and the do guzzle gas (imho). I’ll either get a good price, or keep it and wait for the next generation. Have you driven one of the newer M’s, what do you think?

Good luck with the sales. I was looking at 02-03 m3s last year in the mid 20s. Really wish I could afford an E46 because they are one of my fav cars.

damn this thread makes me miss my M3...

although mine was a lowly e36 :) Sold it for $9k in March and it was PERFECT. 1999 TiAG on Black.

GLWS.. I used to love driving e46's when I was a tech at the Dealer. Never got to drive the ZCP..

    Why are you selling?
Honestly, I’m still trying to find reasons, and convince myself to sell the car, I really had every intention of keeping it, I can’t think of anything else I’d rather take my wife to dinner in, on Friday nights. A couple of reasons I’ve come up with:
First: (the main reason) a few years ago my wife and I found a nice piece of property to build our retirement home on, which we did, however the road is just to dusty to have a black car, and I am way to anal to have such a Classy car and not be able to keep it as clean as I want it to be. You can see what I mean in some of the pictures.

Second: I own four other vehicles.

I'm the original owner, and only driver (besides my wife) I picked this car up when it came out of dealer prep. Nobody else had a chance to over rev it during the break in period.
It's been my well taken care of baby ever since.

E36s are classics! Always loved them. The lines are so pure. Your car looks awesome, should have kept it ;) That car and the Transporter 735 are two of my all time favorite automobiles.

Yeah I regret it a little... but I love my Tacoma too. Wish I could have both but the car had 165k miles!

Gonna get into a BMW again someday when I pay my Taco off more.

Wait a little bit, and try out the 1 series M.

I'm hopefully gonna be getting a 135i in the reasonably near future.. (next year or so)
