For a moment I thought you were talking about a new 3rd brake light that had running & turn sigs built in!
I saw something like that on a Chevy the other day and thought it was a good idea.

So some comments on this grill, ordered off of Amazon, also got the Oem sensor.
First thing. The grill is very light weight, almost to the point of being flimsy. The letters are actually attached to a plate that screws on to the back. Got the sensor plate off and had one hell of a time getting the oem one to fit correctly. Ended up that the slots that the tabs fit into were not quite big enough to accommodate the oem sensor plate. Ended up having to take a hacksaw to the slot to make them just a bit bigger. Once that was installed, the rest went pretty smooth.

Started the truck, no warning lights yet, will drive it a bit and see how that goes.

I would not buy this grill again from the seller and the link is no longer on the site, just an FYI.

It’s a nice look. No more chrome. We will see how long it holds up.

I was aware of this prior to installation, read it in this forum. It’s not the most convenient but the truck will still be warm in the winter.

Well, I got this today. Been looking for a while and then it happened. Perfect timing for the purchase of the RCI bed rack from a local member. Thanks @john8899. Piece by piece she's coming together. 20190721_125744.jpg

I miss my Dodge... mostly the V8 and manual...and still love the looks.

Anyway- I have corner lights, console org, custom shift handle if it happens to be manual...and some other parts if youd be interested for any reason...lol

Next I would like to add a front camera. I’ve done some checking and it seems that the Natika front camera and Car Solutions Camera Control SwitchSystem for Toyota Touch 2 would be a reliable choice. It seems some of you have installed front cameras. Any thoughts/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Getting after it with my kids, we are calling this the summer surf build. We are planning a long road trip up the Ca coast for some camping and surfing and hitting some National Parks on the way home. I am thinking that an RTT will be phase II but will wait on that until we return.

Installed @KTJO 4x4 plug and play Pop-a-Lock. Works like a charm!!

I’ve been putting it off for 2 months anticipating a longer job, but only took about an hour!
