My truck is turning yellow

Hello All.

My 2019 Toyota Tacoma has the clear applique on the front and two other locations on the truck. The material is turning yellowish…my truck is white.

Has anyone out hear had a similar issue?

The Toyota Service Center that works on my truck wants me to have the Toyota Corporation review the material for a consideration of warranty. In other words, have Toyota determine if a warranty will be honored.

I have owned six new Toyota Tacomas and new to the Toyota Corporate reviewing matters for warranty. This issue is obvious and looks bad.

It would be great to get some feedback on this situation.

I have concerns about some quality issues experience with my last two Tacomas.

Only the places they put that clear sticker protection on the bottom of the bed area are turning yellow on mine. 17 here and paint is the least of my concerns with this truck.

In all seriousness though, the paint does seem very fragile. I tried polishing mine the other day and made the swirls even worse.

 

No. The only thing is the rock protection above the tail pipe is nasty gray from the exhaust.

 

Chop that shit off where it just bends over the rear axle on the down turn and never worry about that again.

 

Been thinking about it...
