Canadians buying trd rims On eBay

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has bought these trd rims online and I’m wondering what the total cost was to ship them with duty and what not. I went to my local Toyota dealer and they want 1400 before tax for these rims. Any help would be great I live in BC.

 

Daaaamn. That seems crazy.

 

BC is a hop and skip away from the discount land. Drive to the US, buy them, mount them, then drive back home to CD with brand new TRD wheels. Problem solved.

Like stated above right at the boarders there are company’s like shipper happens and other ones that you ship to and they will hold stuff in there PO Box until you can pick it up for normally $2-$3 Canadian.

I'll second the boarder shipping. Shipped my SCS wheels to Sweet Grass. Its a regular 6.5 hour turn around drive so I turned it into a whole family camping trip near the boarder. Had fun, drank some beer, picked up some wheels at a savings of a whopping $120 CAD. I mean not much, but I'm not willing to give UPS my hard earned money for signing a piece of paper and driving an extra 3 hours. Thanks but no thanks.

I'll actually edit this and say, the brokerage fees from UPS after the fact would have been huge as well I imagine. All in all it probably saved me at least $200 CAD if not a little more. Definitely worth it.

Or contact Dustin from FN and get 4 FX pro blemished wheels and have them shipped to a shipper like "ship happens" and pick them up.

That's what I did and you can get 4 wheels for like $500 CAD

 

I love my bronze FN fX wheels, including the blemish I bought for the spare. Zero blemish on it from what I can find. Dustin is great too.

 

I got the 16" countersteer type X and my friend 17" FN FX pro in the same shipment. All blemished. I couldn't find a single mark on 3 of mine and the 4th has a minuscule paint run.

My buddies had a few pinpoint size paint scratches. Honestly unless you are 2" away staring hard you're not seeing any blems. And they get scratched up anyhow!
