Ya, was pretty clear and we were going to go in the pool. Wife and daughter went while I was in the bathroom. I heard splash as they got in and not even 30 seconds later huge thunder. Been pretty nasty from then on.

@uhplifted the smoke setting for the Traeger runs from 150 to 170. The next step up is 180.

If Brian smokes the scallops at 150° for 10 minutes and then waves them over a hot pan, it may work.

That’s what I do in the summer, too: Cook outside so all of that heat stays out of the house.

Now you might be thinking that it can’t possibly get that hot in Alaska, but you have to remember that these houses are designed to retain all heat possible. 80F inside on a 65F day outside is pretty normal and quite hard to deal with.

Ya that makes sense. I know even in MI our house was well insulated and when it would warm out the house would get hotter than it was outside.

I could do that. Maybe every $45-50 (need to figure out the shipped price) would be a 5lb bag. Could do multiple winners that way. Anything over a multiple if $50 would be a smaller bag.
