    There are plenty of YouTube videos on so-called RV life.
    They range from going light to pretty fancy RVs and trailers.
    Primitive camping with zero amenities (boondocking) to traveling from state park to state park and camping cheap.
    Positive videos and negative, and everything in between.

    For the Winter, there's Ehrenburg in Arizona or Slab City across the border in California.
    Apparently very popular with snowbirds and doesn't get (very) cold. Warm in the daytime all Winter, anyway.

    There are more options out west for boondocking, of course...
    ...but the east has plenty of cheap state park camping, some with hookups, some with just showers and water stations.

    Yeah, I've watched a few videos. :p

    Thanks Gritto. I'll check some of those vids out. I'd probably go to south Texas in winter. The Rio Grande Valley is pretty warm in winter and I know that area. I could even stay for spring break on South Padre Island. I was a wet t-shirt judge there back in my younger days. Fun times. :thumbsup:
