I was going to order a set from Dustin before I got a good deal on my current wheels.

 

Anyone got a set of cmc cmc plates, 2nd gen I can borrow or buy off you with shipping and beer money?

 

BAMF usually ships them out quickly. When does the customer need them by?

Added a set of Lund Flares. And made a set of mud flaps. Now it's 100% legal. But makes the 35" tires look small. The Lund reminds me of the old School BW flares.
Sucks that we need to do these things to pass Recon.
For those who might be interested? These Lund flares have the most coverage of all the flares I've looked at for the 3rd gen. They provide about 2.5" additional coverage over the stock flares. I probably could run 12" wide wheels and still be good to go! 14" wide wheels would look Awesome!

 

From the bottom gate, how long of a drive is it to Peacock Flat camp site?

May need to wait a bit for the MPs to escort you from the top gate to the start of State land.. give or take 10-20 minutes for that.

Then, from the start of the trail from camp is anywhere from 45mins to 1.5hr. If you know the trail, have a steady speed, and don’t stop for pics then 40-45 is the average..

If you have others following you, are following others, or take the lower road, then it will definitely longer than 45.

Since you’re asking, I would plan for 1.5hr.

 

Thanks so much, made a solo trip over a year ago with my daughter. First one up after few days of big rain. Didn't track my time, or save it for future use. Coming down took way longer,checking out the sights.

 

Oh. … After a big rain or extremely muddy or during a downpour is another time frame altogether. LOL. Then there’s the different mindset of cruising it to camp, or getting to camp to relax.

Anyone want the front air deflector off my 3rd gen? I hate to throw it away, seems like a waste? It supose to help with MPG.

Just swapped my alternator out for a singer 300 amp alt and did the big 3. If anyone needs a 130 amp and a 100 amp alt for 2md gens lmk, for sale. Also got an extra starter, compressor, power steering and 2wd trans.
