I hate when people want to treat the bye product and not fix the damn problem. Had a meeting one time where everyone in the meeting was saying why it wasn’t their fault and why it was someone else’s. I got sick of it and said since you seem to need someone to blame let’s just say it’s my fault. Now that it’s out of the way can we actually fix the flipping problem now. One of the C level guys in the room looked at me smiled and started to laugh.

I don’t have a whole lot of patience for cya or stupid.

I leave work at the door when I leave. I don’t worry about it, don’t think about it or care. When I’m off I’m off.

I do the same when I’m home. Don’t check company email or anything

 

If they call me at home or my cell, I’m instantly on the clock at X2 & a Min. of 4hrs. so it better be good.

 

Im trying to learn that, I've gotten way better but I'm already dreading going back tomorrow and wondering what horrible hell awaits me...

 

Quite a while back wife and I were standing in line at the movies waiting to get tickets. My phone rings and it’s work. I answer deal with the issue and hang up. An older gentleman behind me says wow what did we do before we had all this technology. I didn’t even think about it and blurred out actually had a life. My wife (having dealt with my work for years) started laughing.

 

Man that’s the crap part of being salary.
