You sure you checked all the fuses? In both fuse boxes, under the dash and in the engine bay?

inside the fuse panel in the engine compartment there is a bolted in fuse. If you follow the red wire about the size of a pencil off of the positive post of the battery it leads to this fuse. Depending on the truck and its equipment it can be from 80 to 120 amps. You have to take the fuse panel apart... easy... to replace it. If this is the culprit, it is a toyota only part and they don't usually stock this. Bring your VIN # when you call or go to the dealer. it this isn't the culprit, off of this internal buss inside of the fuse box there is a large 40 maxi fuse, AM1, if I remember, this fuse feeds the ignition switch and much much more.

Try jumping the starter directly to the battery and seeing if it’ll crank that way. Key in On.

Put the starter signal wire to the positive post on the battery.

Issue was the am1 slow blow fuse. As you know the slow blow fuse will solder back together sometimes causing them to test ok when just checking continuity. Replaced it since it was only common I could find in schematic and now all is good. I did bust the clear cover off and could see where it was blowing and resoldering back together.

now the question is did the fuse crack due to age/vibration or is there a problem waiting... I would be an extra AM1 fuse just in case.
