    Does anyone have white dome and map lights? Is it too bright? Just curious why people go red instead?

    I don't have them, but from pictures people have posted they are both very bright, the whites even moreso. The reason to get reds though, is that you can turn them on at night while driving and they don't totally ruin your night vision.

    I have the Red Maps - stock dome. I think the Red is almost too bright, but my eyes are more sensitive. Not sure why everyone wants nuclear-fallout-levels of light...but to each their own. I'm really hoping for a dual-chip laid board with a switch between white and red - either dual state chips, or just alternating chips red/white....maybe throw a few blue in for full USA status :) lol

    I might like a diffuser for the dome, but I'm also weird. I know Stew hates the look of factory-ish stuff ;)

    I have cheap ebay replacement LED's in the factory lights now and they have been ok but I know the dome is something to be improved upon, can't see much in the rear floorboard area. Hopefully I can catch this drop everyone has been waiting for :spending:

    At first it will be annoying bright but then you stand back and say "damn thats crazy bright and I like it!" you will also lock just to unlock your truck multiple times just to see it light up the whole interior cabin.

    Yes I have the white dome/map lights, they are bright but a nice bright lol. But I also have the red maps and looking to complete the set with a red dome! I just want to have the option to change them whenever I feel to whatever color and/or combo.

    I love the look of the pods and the white maps/dome at night :drool:. I've had that combo for a while now and still love to sit back and look after clicking the fob. Best part is seeing the other Tacos around town lacking all this cool Meso stuff I have, followed by the double takes. "What model do you have, I don't have all those cool LEDs". :D
