If anything it's helped me exercise patience lol. As long as I know where the knocking is coming from I can live with it...it was back when I couldn't figure it out that it really drove me crazy.

It's the goddamn bushings or something to do with the main eye on the front of the pass side. @Sperrunner's post about stock +3leaf made me realize that maybe I should go back to OEM bushings in these springs and maybe that'll at least get rid of the endless noise.

Still the issue of them sagging some when loaded but that's not entirely worth buying new $1000 springs for imo

The minute I put a rubber bushing back in place of a poly bushing on my main eye, the clunk Id get while backing out of the driveway went away.

yeah that's probably the same clunk I get, except it's when backing up, moving forward, or turning (weight shifting to one side). Some days worse than others

Guess rubber bushings are cheaper than new springs, I'll start there. Fuck these poly bushings once and for all

This is exactly what I'm going to do once I have the time to do it. I think those damn front poly bushings are contributing to the squeaking as well. OME shipped them with OE rubber bushings - have to wonder why.

Good point yeah, my Dakars didn't clunk like this. The stupid greasable thing is so overrated imo, I haven't gotten one ounce of relief from greasing the bolts...ever.

I feel bad for anyone who uses poly bushings on anything except the steering rack (whiteline lca bushings seem aight too) on these trucks, or any car for that matter. Rubber doesnt last as long, but it works, and its quiet.

Socket set and a bfh got mine out. Just drive the center sleeve out with a socket, then catch the center gap of the 2 piece bushing with a flat head and beat them out one side at a time. Little heat didnt hurt either.

I used a ball joint press a impact. Then just a big breaker when the impact stop. But that’s because i was to lazy to goto the other house to use the shop press.

You can lube them up with super lube or that ES grease and theyll be quiet for a while. Except that stuff dries over time and its basically the same as liquid ptfe pipe sealant. All white and stringy when you get the bushings out.

Getting the oem rubbers out, yes this is the best method. Removing poly bushings all you need is a bfh and a socket/flat screwdriver.
