What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I LOVE that brilliant blue on the grille. Must have it! I looked on their site, but didn't see any products for grilles. Where did those come from, if you don't mind? Thanks.

 

In the settings you can change the highlight color and it’ll be that color through all of the system.

I can’t stand the blue lights, I find them really annoying and bright, like the D on the shifter indicator.

went up to sequoia for the weekend. within an hour of being on the trail we ran into a 2nd gen that blew a tire. dude was pretty ill prepared.. got him/them fixed up and on their way (they were cool good people) they were stuck for about an hour.

TRAC light usually comes on whenever the ECM throws a code. Cruise control turns off when the code has to do with a driving issue. Most likely cause: gas cap is off or loose. Put it back on tight, and after a couple of starts the code will clear. Been there, done that.

Ordered a matching spare tire/wheel last week from @Discount Tire and then today caved in and got a Decked system for the bed @DECKEDUSA.

 

Did a couple of minor updates over the past week.

*Added the LoPro AVS rain guards/wind deflectors

*plasti-dipped the badges matte black

*added Ram mount on Driver side vent with the takform motorcycle phone holder.

I went with this because of the size. I didn’t want that ram spyder claw looking mount. I’ll see how this on works out. I’m not 100% sold on the vent Mount that I bought from Esty but I’ll give it a try. I’ll most likely upgrade to the TTM from Expedition Essentials at some point.

I’m on the market for some all terrain tires. Seems like everyone is rocking the BFG K02 and falken at3s. I’m still on a stock set up. Any recommendations for sizes other than 265/70/17s?

I would like to get tires that I won’t have to worry about upgrading once I put in a 2-2 1/2” suspension lift. (Also kicking around options for that as well)

Finally installed my air tank, kind of a bitch and needed smaller hands than ones with my sausage fingers. Mounted it underneath the bed right to the back. Just have to wire the compressor and will probably need heat shield on the tank since it’s about 4” from the exahaust. Mounted the quick coupler to the frame closets to the tank.

 

Installed the @MESO Customs Inferno headlight trim as soon as I got home from work.

 

Any bigger tires and they would be monster trucks!!
