And the main eyes, got Daystars all around. Yeah I should've ordered it when I got the bushings but I had heard that lithium grease would work too so I just used that, but given the issues I've had that seems like a good place to start. Though I don't hold out much hope tbh

the best grease to use for poly is the grease the poly bushing manufacturer sells (their brand).

just any old grease isn't going to cut it and depending on the bushing, may call for a specific type. One of the best articles I've come across re: poly bushing grease

So are any of the aftermarket leaf packs compatible with oem bushings and shackles? Do they do rubber bushings for the shackles in aftermarket?

Not sure but I think the OEM ones should work, I don't think the size of the bushings changes between leaf spring manufacturers but I could be wrong.

Actually I do remember that the Dakar bushings wouldn't work in my All Pros so maybe they do change, or might have to do with the shackles...I dunno

Oh it's clunky? The shackles are? Or at least something in leaf pack is clunky?

main eye is clunky on pass side. Goes away if I spray PTFE lubricant on it but only for a short while. So maybe the silicone based grease is what I need

You should try it, only thing that elimiates sueaking for me. I don't think your clunking issue is because of lack of lube on the bushings though.

The Daystar h ES F5 stuff is pretty much the same. Es F5 only comes in small packets & tubs though. I jave a tube of the F5 that I use when I'm installing something cause I have it. I use the Daystar cause I can load it in a mini grease gun.
