Theres a large rubber grommet with a wire bundle running through it. Look below your brake reservoir, behind your fuse panel. Poke a small hole and push a bent piece of metal coat hanger through to tape your wires to. After that, it should be fairly easy to route your wires. The sill plate for the door should pop off if you pull straight up, I believe.

Edit: If you really want to get crazy, you can drill a hole through the firewall and use an appropriately sized/rated grommet from http://rubberpartscatalog.com/home/products/rubber-grommets/military-grommets/MS35489-silicone
I personally haven't done this method but it may work for you. Just make sure if you do this method that you use appropriately rated sealant to seal around the casing.

The driver's kick panel is removed by first pulling and removing the drivers long trim piece, then pull off the black foot rest. Remove the screw under the foot rest and lastly, simply pull the kick panel straight back to remove. Look up at the firewall and you will see a large bundle of wires running through to the engine bay. Use a coat hanger to thread your wire by squeezing through the bundle and grommet. Easier to do this on the engine side.

    ^^ This ^^

Also you can use Windex to lube the wires when pushing it through.

Underneath the firewall main rubber wire seal there's a nipple most are unaware of. Cut the tip, pass wire through tape it up.

    ^^^ This!

I did this a few years ago and it's been great.

There is also a rubber grommet that can be removed on the firewall itself. I did that too for 4AWG wire run.

A dab of grease after the wire has been run helps keep dust out too.
