Just got my registry key.

Can't wait to get home and upload the new tune and see what the fuss is all about.

 

Mat is pretty incredible, a new baby a couple day ago and back at it already. He sent me a new registry code to fix my internal error, worked as advertised and 87 base is installed. Took it for a short 2 mile drive, actually holds a gear when on the throttle, that dead spot at 20mph is gone it continues to accelerate. It’s no rocket ship but it has a little spunk now. Will really see how it does tomorrow.

Finished flashing, went to reset LV and AT and says complete unsuccessful. Says to do this while running. Thoughts why it's failing?

 

running as is "on" not running as in "motor running"

For folks that have purchased this... and sorry but man it's a lot pages, does the truck hold 5-6 gear better on a hill or with a head wind? I don't mind it dropping a gear but with just me in the truck, no AC on and a small head wind, dropping to 3rd in cruise to hold speed is tiresome. Not complaining, knew what I was buying, just a question on the purchase I'm considering.

 

Sure does for me. I'm stock running 91 base.
In this pic, you can see I'm in 6th gear with a pretty good headwind. It was this way my entire 50 mile trip. It rarely goes to 4th on smaller hills with headwind.

 

This post alone might have sold me lol, thanks man, I'd probably be in 4th at that grade with that head wind. Do you still have the front air dam?

I'm fairly flat in my area so I cant really comment on larger hills. But from what I've read, it is better there too.

 

The tune kept me from trading off my truck! Can't wait to see what the next version improves!

I got my reg key, went to the truck and found out that my Calibration ID is 04B04. When I go to the menu options, that is not a choice..... ?

No, I have not searched the entire 2,350 pages.

 

The instructions say to look under 2017 for 04B04

 

Look under 2017. Year of ECU, not truck

2.0 development is going well, tons of feedback so far. We have a bit more of individualized adjustments to make before going forward with a wider audience.

We should have pending kit orders out this week, and I should have an estimation on exhaust deliveries as well.

 

Got mine tuned successfully! I’ll give it a few days of learning (since I cleared everything) before making any judgements.
