This is hands down the best aftermarket product I have bought for any vehicle. Rented a rototiller from Home Depot and from the time he told me to pull my truck up to when he actually rolled it out of the building I had the truck pulled up and the Softopper collapsed and tie downs ready to go.

Well I had my bestop for going on 8 years. I really liked it and it served its purpose well. It held up surprising well for being in the sun nearly 24/7 in phx.

I didn’t get another bestop because I like the way the softopper fits. It sits slightly below the cab. I also didn’t want to hassle with fading windows and brittle windows over time.

    Lay it down flat.

Pop the top and rest in style.

Softopper versatility is unmatched by any. Makes an adventure sled for any occasion.

And sturdy on the trail. Flexin.

Love the style and it fits all the bikes!
The exped duo (reg) mattress fits perfectly in my long bed; compact when deflated so I can store all my minimal camp gear.
Barely notice it’s in the truck while driving, and doesn’t ruin gas efficiency.
Installed LED lights along the rails.

It’s a perfect match for me!
    Thank you Softopper!

Which 1up model do you have? I’m thinking I want the 2” receiver, but unsure on Heavy Duty vs Super Duty.

Did anyone experience a change in fuel economy with the addition of the softop?

I haven’t come across any, haven’t really looked though. My Softopper will arrive tomorrow, then heading to Texas on Thursday. I may be able to provide some feedback. Off the eye test seems it’ll likely drop some.

Super duty all the way. I will be hauling 4 bikes eventually and probably still have a couple thrown over the tailgate. Family of riders.

Unless your driving a Prius, there's no reason to skimp out on the beef of these racks. IMO.

Good advice. What’s the difference in ‘beef’ between the HD vs SuperDuty?

I’ll primarily be hauling a single bike for a few more years. Both my kids are under 3yro and my wife was just learning to MTB prior to babyland.
