I have heard the road is rough but I was thinking of going camping up there this weekend. Does anybody know if I would be able to make it with my little teardrop trailer?

I have not been but I’m going up there with some Friends that have been up there on August 2 and they told me that the 12 mile track from Highway 48 into badger Lake is like an hour or hour and a half just for the 12 miles

Oh wow it must be pretty rough then, I believe it though. We took the trailer out by three pools and opal lake over the weekend and it took us about 2 hours to do 20 miles.

I was actually hoping to go out this weekend. I may have to go somewhere else this weekend and check out the lake another time. The last thing I want is to get stuck with the trailer haha.

The trailer can make it, the trail gets skinny in a few spots, so backing up will be difficult for you.

I drove in June 23rd. The road going into Badger lake is closed to trailers since there is very little room for passing oncoming vehicles. I prefer to take Bennett pass from hwy 35 (meadows exit) it's a more scenic route.
