There are comfy luxury cars still. But they aren't huge and lacking in performance too. That's too inconvenient

 

They just feel cheap to me. Never been satisfied by anyone Ive ridden in thats been made since the 80's.

 

Every goddamn Nissan since 1994, awful BOSE systems as far as the eye can see

Cadillacs or Vettes?

Don’t know much about vettes but Cadillac was incredibly solid till around the mid to late 1980’s. After that the quality started deteriorating (along with the rest of General Motors)

 

Someone put a bose system in the van if I remember right. Its all torn out now

 

The Bose stereo system someone shoehorned into Miguel’s van was from an early 2000’s Pathfinder.

 

I wouldn’t have torn it out if it wasn’t completely blown. All the speakers were just disintegrated.

 

I mean the radio was already yanked out when i got it

Plastic intake manifold? OK!

Plastic oil pan? No problem!

Plastic... plastic? Sure thing.

 

I actually rather like plastic intakes on V engines. Oil pan I'm not sold on yet

 

I hear ya and I just may be old but I like as little plastic as possible on or about the engine.

 

Heat soak is important and aluminum likes to take all the heat it comes in contact with an dissipate it to the air you're about to ignite. Hot air is no bueno. On intakes like the cruiser and 3RZ had, not a big issue, cause structurally the plastic would be harder to generate, but I'd still prefer the plastic as long as it is available as a replacement cause ever 25 - 30 years you'll need a new one.

 

Yes it’s built on the Navara platform. It’s a joint venture with Nissan.
