Base camp usage has been my main focus with TT's. Base camp to me is BLM or NF dispersed. What I've figured out is the big deal is the departure angle on comfort-of-home TT's.

You get a trailer with a long rear porch, maybe it has all the amenities inside, but if it's too long from rear axle to bumper, you're gonna have a bad time trying to get it through gullies.

I looked at the Aliner poptops, the Expedition model seems alright fully optioned out with hardside option and the extreme offroad package, maybe $18k brand new. Has a cassette toilet inside which is workable, they don't stink too bad.

A thing that stood out, it has great windows, big front and rear slider windows, slider side windows, great visibility and ventilation, great natural lighting.

 

Good on you for making a move.

Doing that next summer, come hell or high water.
