I'll just leave this skirted burger here since nobody came to get one.
I started by smoking it for an hour at 150 then went for a reverse sear on the Blackstone.
Third pounder topped with my smoked pepper Jack, bacon, my smoked sharp white cheddar, bacon and mex cheese mix.

Or even mini Reese's s'mores pies.
This time I used 3 mini Reese's per and filled in the holes with a mix of milk chocolate and peanut butter chips then topped with mini marshmallows and cooked at 425 for 7 minutes.

Not that it's anything TW related but just bought a 94 Lance cabover. Thought I knew what I was getting into but in the two weeks I've owned it I've realized I probably should have passed and just bought something for a little more money. I've also never owned any kind of camper so theres a bit of a learning curve I guess. Previous owner did not keep up on anything, so I've been hitting up Amazon hard for 5/10/20$ little things. Need to order an AC unit and a generator soon. Anyone have a horizontal 20lb propane tank they'd want to sell? PO gave no fucks and was using a vertical. Anyway, excited to get it fixed up and do a little bit of camping.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
My buddy came up from CA for Man Weekend: red meat, beer, shooting - you know - the stuff that's more or less too fun to be legal in California any more. He brought this interesting cooking device that is perhaps the most awesome thing. Ever.

    IMG_0815.jpg

We had bacon and steak for dinner. The cooking surface is made out of an old plow/furrowing disc with handles welded on. The underside has 1/2" threaded pipe couplings so you can tripod it over a camp fire if you prefer. Not as deep as a wok, about 1/4" thick steel, and it's more or less like cooking on cast iron. You have the added bonus of being able to baste everything in bacon fat!

@obscurotron, something about using old farm equipment as a cooking surface that just doesn't work for me (you know what they tend to plow in to the fields, right).

It is called a scottle though and you can buy a new one that hasn't been used to turn in manure if you don't mind seasoning it yourself.

That's the same guy I think, only you ordered yours with the 'BBQ grill' handles. My friend has the same burner setup and everything. I noticed this morning how the legs pack/attach to the burner for easy transport, which slick as hell.

I'm gonna have to get my one of them things. It was actually more fun to use than the grill!!

yeah, but the burner is super friggen hot. it goes from 0 to nuclear in like 10 seconds.

i got the cover for the disc and it goes on the bottom of my RTT (where the table is in the pic). what i really want is good case/storage solution for the burner.

All depends on how and what you pack. I got the Mullet so I could easily pack a lot.
