    I too would like to do some off road camping and am in San Jose (work in Campbell). It doesn't need to be Tacoma dependent either, I am also down for some backpacking even though I am really out of shape.

    It's just rough dirt roads. No "wheeling" trails around that I know of.

    Edit: Except Fordyce, and that's a no-go for stock trucks.
