I think I'm gonna mount the comp to the back wall of the cab. I'll have to build a cage around it to keep the dogs from getting burned but it should be g2g. I'm not taking them on this trip anyways so I don't have to worry about that immediately

How often do you sit in the cab while airing up?

Dude you don't know how much more comfy and better on the vehicle cruising down the dirt roads at 10psi over 35psi. No exaggeration. That constant rattle and vibrating from dirt roads while completely aired up is hard on the trucks. It's not a Cruiser you know.
Seriously though try it one time when you know you'll be only on trails for a few hours so it's worth the ten minutes to air down

That's cool. Keep rattling your tacos and their joints too death ;) It's a lot better on the truck. I'm seeing now how you could have been having so many issues now. Your type of driving requires solid preventative maintenance. High speed dirt roads is the funnest of all the driving (crawling slickrock is right there too) but is the hardest on the vehicle:cool:

At least the top of the plate bracket is waterproof . Not sure about underneath where it counts though.
