Cap/Topper trade thread - Read Post #1

So, I have an interesting situation:

Got my truck about 2 weeks ago and started to shop for a shell. I found my perfect shell basically- DCSB 2nd gen, silver, windoors, hi top, etc. , but it was a ways away and the seller wasnt quite convinced he wanted to go to the trouble of handing off to a shipper and I wasnt ready to drive there (already covered about 10k miles of driving this Summer). So, we parted ways, and I said to let me know if he cant find anything local.

Meanwhile, shopping more locally, I found a really nice leer, white not silver, and put down a deposit on it and am going to pick up tomorrow about an hour from me. However, the first guy, with the better option for me called me today and we struck a deal.

In short, I will soon have 2 shells in my possession and only 1 truck. If you would like to buy a white Leer 100xq in the Chicago vicinity, I will have one to sell starting tomorrow. Small chip in lower left corner near tailgate, but very minor from what I can see in pictures. In every other way it appears to be in good condition. Carpeted liner, lights wired, solid window behind cab. The 100xq is the top of the line Leer that follows all the body lines of the truck.

This pictures below are not the topper in question, but they are identical (pretty sure thats the DCSB version in the picture?) I will add more details and pictures when I get the thing. I am guessing if you wanted to buy it out right from me I would hope for something in the range of $1100? Will put a more firm price on it when I better understand condition. My wife will be thrilled if I have two shells sitting around for any length of time- let's make this happen!
