The dealers in VA have lifted and performed a CMC on new vehicles. I'm not sure how they're doing the warranties but we have a few. Some with 6 inch drop brackets lifts too.

Wait... wut? Why would you need to move? o_O

You do know that you can arrange everything by phone and buy a truck from any dealership in the country, right?

You could also (probably) drive 20-30 minutes in any direction and visit a different Toyota dealership...

I've talked to 3 in this area. I think I'm going to trade for something else. The dealer is trying hard to please me. This is the 3rd day in their garage and they have no idea what is wrong. A Toyota Tech Supervisor from Atlanta is coming tomorrow. It's showing 5 codes.

The window sticker on my truck was about $39k , I have driven 4800 miles. They have a Forerunner for $42k sticker. They will trade NOW for $6800 difference and put the Toyota Running boards on. The $6800 is the total amount. The tax on the difference included.

I've had several issues with the Tacoma. Two were critical. I don't think I'll ever be able to feel good about driving it.

The 4WD is different ( sorta like ALL WHEEL DRIVE ) . I like that and it's 100% made in Japan. 4 liter 270 hp. I'll let them know tomorrow.

    Thinking. :sadviolin:

BTW. While looking around the lot to kill time I noticed some of the tacomas have transmissions made in Thailand.

I'm gone. I bought the forerunner.

Thanks to everyone for great information and photos and stories. Great site. I'm sure my truck does not reflect all Tacoma owners experiences. Thanks again.

You will love the made in Japan 4Runner. The next generation is right around the corner and the current generation it’s a tried and true platform. I don’t feel Tacoma quality is what it used to be, but that’s just my opinion. Toyota will be revealing the next generation of the 4Runner, Tundra and Tacoma in the next 1-3 years.
