OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

on the soft stock Pro stuff in the rear and with a Hellwig rear bar, i have mad hop & wrap with OVT naturally aspirated. and i even had that on 1.05 which is a good chunk less torquey than 2.0. when my trac bar was installed the wrap was completely controlled and it felt and drove amazing. looking forward to fabbing up a better bracket solution for my bar... in the meantime i control it with the throttle.

 

If those things keep you from buying a $6,000+ kit, then this kit ain't for you.

 

And it varies on what else you want beyond the kit, and ultimately what shop you take your truck to for installation if you're not doing it yourself. There's legitimately no way to provide that information beyond the baseline provided for the kit itself.

 

Plus I'd bet the majority of people that buy this will self install? Maybe I'm wrong

you and I both know this rabbit hole is endless lol. The 'what else' is the X variable that never gets figured out because it's always something that needs fixed, fine tuned or needs to be upgraded. Fuel mods, meth injection, smaller pulleys, different tune, port and polish, holy shit my cats are fried now I need new cats to pass smog, etc.

Anybody know the LPH of the OEM pump?

Edit* Holy smokes. Didn't realize it also had a mechanical high pressure pump.

Curious on how the supercharger will be mounted? Will it replace the ac compressor?

Thanks. Wasn't sure when I was browsing on your site. I know that was the issue with my 05 TL as the ac compressor had to be swap out for the rotrex.

7) what else? Airfilter High flowing - Nothing else needed, its a pretty comprehensive kit.

Idk why i entertained your questions with actual responses. Nothing that a quick Amazon and google search couldn't get you. Like the guy before me said, if these things are keeping you from getting this kit, then its not the right one for you.

Totally not necessary but helps reduce axle wrap, especially when you are adding more HP and TQ. Gives a better feel and response when punching the accelerator from a stop or rolling along. I definitely feel it a bit more now that my leafs are softer. It's a way to reduce play in the driveline. The kit costs $300 and reasonable in comparison to other mods.

 

I don't know if I'd call it an issue but axle wrap is noticeable even on a stock Tacoma.
