I can look but I do believe all paper work went bye bye.... But I will look around!

But by the way Toyota didn't not fix any of the issues so it is for someone else to deal with not me!

Been getting a few drops on the passenger floormat. Ran the hose along the windshield cowel, been through the carwash, didn't see any leaks. Been hotter then he'll lately, so the air has been on steady. Ac drain isn't plugged. Not sure if condensation is coming out of the ductwork or what?

The video is of my taco off road. Brand new 2019.Leak was discovered going through a paper mill's employees car wash after 4wheeling on the beach. Has been out of service for a total 34 days. Toyota admits it is a design flaw on Gen 3s..no fix. Specifically, after being inspected by an FTS and driving multiple trucks , that all leak through said car wash, Toyota stance is the car wash is forcing too much water build up in the channel making the water leak into the ac filter area and the passenger side floorboard. The design of the Tacoma's cowl area makes it exclusive to Gen 3s. The proposed fix is that I just don't take it to this particular carwash. Additionally, the shop manager at Coggin Toyota at the avenues Jacksonville Fl.basically blamed me for discovering the issue and said by taking to this carwash I was trespassing and could of been arrested. Earlier in the process I was willing to purchase another brand new 2019 which the dealership found, it leaked also. Case is with Toyota. At this point all I want is to be made whole...I'm done. I urge every one with a Gen 3 that is still under warranty to check it out. Hopefully Toyota makes it right before I go through the hassle of lemon law. I am willing to offer any needed infomation.

Trust me...I'm bummed. My first Toyota experience. I love everything else about the truck. Not going to drop 40K on a vehicle and it leaks.

So much WTF in this thread. Not sealed heater box, or the whole front of the truck dumps water into the cowl, and it's running into the cab? Never heard of this, and with all the CMC's and beating of the firewall and wheel wells.

Yeah, WTF.... I have had my truck just over 2.5 years and over 41k. I persoanlly have driven it through many rain storms in varying speeds, washed my truck many times, and have been through a variety of auto car washes. Not one leak.

OP, can you tell us about your truck, mods, changes etc...

Quikfix seat risers and lic plate mount, MESO interior and stage 1 tails, glove box and console dividers, shelf for center console, FACTOR 55 hitch link, TC bed stiffeners, OE bed mat,
    2 things come to mind....

1, do you have a sunroof? if so, are the drains clogged?

2, did some one put a roof rack on it and then take it off (long shot, but worth a look) leaving the holes open thinking the rubber trim would seal it?

Guys....it is brand new, have been dealing with this since May. No sun roof, roof racks. Nothing. I'm a new member, just signed up today because of this. Toyota case manager calling me tomorrow. Under the right or wrong condition the gen 3s leak. Period. Toyota is admitting it.

Update on the leak..after 34 cumulative days in the shop, a windshield replacement, reseal of the replacement windshield, verifiction of the leak by a Toyota field rep and acknowledgement they cannot fix the leak as it is not fixable and is exclusive to Gen 3s......Big Toyota has determined the issue is the carwash I use and my leak is not covered under the warranty. Next stop arbitration. Just saying guys, you have the problem, you just don't know it. Good luck with the warranty if you start leaking.

Its sad Toyota has come to these conclusions on many issues from water leaks, rear diff issues howling and leaking or seeping, trans issues, vibration issues and so on..... Sad very sad!

Believe it or not I have only driven it once in the rain, it is garage parked also. If you view the video, it happens while the truck sits still under the carwash, takes about 10 -15 seconds and then floods the floor board. Toyota concedes this will happen to Gen 3s and there is no fix. The volume of water plus the psi will do this. I have driven a loaner 4runner and Tundra through the wash and no leaks. Apparently no one else on the face of the earth has discovered this, as Toyota claims no prior knowledge, which I find hard to believe. All I'm trying to do is spread the word. It would be nice if someone could try and replicate it.

Maybe....my point is being brand new under warranty isn't it Toyota's responibility to rectify?

Subaru Foresters are known for the same type of leak. Not sure if the 3rd gen leaks can be solved by the same method used for the Subarus as shown in the video.
