    Looks like they might be off a Civic Si. I think they look good on the truck!

    Thanks!
    And they might be lol, im not a huge fan of silver wheels so I'll probably be changing them. I have a couple sets in mind. Not really sure how red would look on the blue gray paint, but I'll Photoshop them on at some point and see how they look

    I've looked at that Motegi wheel before but I can't do red and Sunfire Pearl... Hmm, maybe I paint the red accents to match the truck!!

    I like the top ones too! Curious to see the red with the blue gray too. I know it's all trendy and crap but I think black wheels with the blue gray paint is a winner.

    Got er on the stand, I'll definitely take the cams off first and put the 3vz Fe ones in and turn the motor by hand and see what happens

    With the 3vz-fe cams (any performance cams for that matter), you need stiffer cam springs as well or you'll get valve float from what I've read on ttora/customtacos. There was a lot of talk about the 3vz not being compatible due to the distributor notch/hole on the cams? With years of searching and asking, you will be the first person I've seen actually try it. Very interested in how well it works out!

    Your stock ECU can be hard modded to increase your RPM's to 6600k IIRC. Not advisable as stock as you start loosing power around 5500 but with cams and turbo, you should be able to feed the engine enough air. A new manifold to replace the miles of intake runners would also help.

    I'm already doing upgraded valve train.
    I'm also using a piggy back ecu for tuning. And with the turbo and port and polish, it's only going to want to rev high :D

    Piggyback won't raise RPM's. Its an easy mod if you can solder, but as far as I know there are only two ways to adjust the 5VZ rev limiter. Mod the stock ECU or get a standalone.

    Damn, I'll have to look more into the AEM fic 6 and see what I can do with it

    Well according to what I've read AEM software now supports rev limiter and two step settings. :notsure:

    Just by holding the 3vz Fe came next to the motor I can tell they're going to fit perfectly and the lobes of the cams align as well

    That would be nice. I'll have to see if my FIC 6 can adjust revs.

    I didn't see it, or maybe I did, but wherever it was it didn't seem to get in the way. I held them all up and it seemed to fit. On the passenger side there was a cam retainer that didn't have any of the cam in it. Maybe it goes in there?

    @StAndrew
    Here's a picture of the cams. They all look identical to me?

    Well, can't get the crank pulley bolt off. Gonna have to rig something up the hold the pulley because I don't want to buy that $70 tool. I'm gonna charge my impact up all the way and give it another go with that before I make a tool.

    Which crank holder tool do you need? I have a couple for a 4Runner and a Lexus that might work, you'd be welcome to borrow if they'd work.
