Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Headed to the warehouse for the afternoon, to help my supervisor and another person sort through some possible defective tile that we received.

Hopefully it won't be like a sauna in that place. Trying to lose weight, but not that way.

 

Got the Bestop installed Saturday morning. Instructions could have been....clearer.

Not bad! I like it! And on day 1 I had reason to fold it down and use the full bed. I would have been TICKED if I had to take off a hard cap I had JUST installed.
Looks kinda badass too, but it would look a LOT better on a 3" lift with some 33's.

Wow, was that some serious weather or what? Could not train or even exercise the dogs for fear of heat issues.
It did give me a chance to work in the shade of the garage and install a hoist to lift and store my cap. I was a bit bummed that I could not get a fair price for it but now I'm glad it did not sell as I can put it on and off as needed with no hassles. (HEY, no comments on how cluttered the bench is)

 

Very nice! I’m totally looking into a soft top. I like the look better and it’s ease to fold down for use of the bed.

 

Started my Dale Carnige “leadership and management” training today. Already have a project due my next Monday. How to save or make my company 5k. Fortunately I had already done something at work that falls into this so I don’t have to make something up lol.

Agreed. I love having full use of the bed in 3 minutes. And it turns heads too... I've had to explain what a soft top is at least 6 times in 2 days.

Got tired of polishing the drivers headlight on the Tacoma, so ordered a new one.
The light arrived today. First thing I do is check the condition of the box - perfect. Phew!
I picked up the box & it rattled. Uh-oh. Open it up & a tab is broken off, likely there to help position the light.

Guess I'm going to see how good the Amazon returns are. Shesh.
