    Almost everybody uses Mitchell estimating software. It’s pretty good for vehicles in their database. If the adjuster identifies say the hood, the software lists all the parts needed, the paint material required, and the labor. It’s pretty accurate. As long as the adjuster looks, any Mitchell quote is gonna be pretty accurate.

    Supplements cover the stuff they missed.

    Just make sure it says OEM only for the parts. And check the guarantee. I went to a place approved by my carrier which got me limited lifetime warranty.

    Kinda quiet in here today and I just got done talking to some friends about this but.......

    If you had to choose one Toyota engine to rock for the next 10 years (engine has to be tied to the specific models they came standard/optioned with, has to be an engine offered in the USA and they all have 100k miles on them when you get it), which engine is it?

    I think I’d have to pick the 4.7 V8 for the reliability and decent power.
