Some of the worst welds I’ve done are on these sliders (first thing I ever fabbed like 6 yrs ago) and no broken welds here. Tubing got bent to hell and couldn’t open the rear doors, but welds held.

@jeff b nothing to worry about on those welds

It should be a good start for a 3 or 4 link kit.

ETA: and by kit I mean massive fabrication and design project.

Those links will work. Most are running 50-52, what’s most important in the shock placement on the links when it comes to short beds. I’ve got a set of trac links I’m probably gonna finish welding and list for sale.

    Bad ass.

One question though. Are you alone or is someone out in front of you? I ask because that road looks fairly tame and I'd assume possible traffic on it so how do you know you won't come flying around a corner and see a utv coming right at you and either kill them or yourself by going into a tree to avoid them?

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
radios.....and the local firelookout guy up on the mountain is on a private channel with me...the road is relatively tame...stock vehicle can do about 20 tops cause of te small constant bumps and rocks.... and durning the week especially midday almost nobody is out in this neck of the woods...which is when I take the truck out for outings like this...helps knowing the roads too growing up on em...I know where u can go fast and when to cool it just in case...honestly its the least reckless way to do it.....ive hit someone head on a few years ago....never drove without radios and another person agsin
