I like this system. Might have to buy one or two. Thanks!

Or make a couple, that’s a steep price for a small piece of metal.

Very true... Actually didn't really think of that at initial look but they do look like they can be easily made.

Is this what you’re referring to? If so, the answer is yes. I’ve seen several folks run this setup. This photo courtesy of @Dre_Le, was just the first I found to show as an example.

Edit: or look at the first post of this thread.....

Definitely true but my bikes are in the middle of the house and apparently aesthetics "are important". My house was a lot cooler before she moved in...

I screw these hooks into the wall, spaced out based on what bike I'm hanging. There's really no reason to buy anything fancier. If you want to keep the front wheel from turning, cause there's a tendency for the bars to turn one way or another, place a small block of 2x4 on either side of the hook to block the wheel in. Cheap. Simple. customizeable.

Consider yourself a lucky man to have a house that is bike-inclusive. I can't tell you how many friends I've lost touch with that were "forced" to part ways with their "dangerous" hobbies once they got married.

I run it this way around town. Super easy. Just gotta make sure your dropper post goes low enough. IMG_6742.jpg

I put a camping platform under the softopper on trips and got tired of doing the bike/bed platform shuffle so I recently purchased this for bike adventure trips. Really opens up the storage options in the bed.

Agreed... there's compromise and then there's complete and utter failure to stand up for what's important and what brings you sanity... without my bikes (pedal and moto); I'd be a cranky, anti-social sumbitch (moreso than already perceived that way).

I have an ex that wasn't supportive of my hobbies. I'm glad she's my ex. My wife is much more supportive, that's why she's my wife.

I stopped hanging my one hydraulic-braked bike from the front wheel for just this reason. Would get a weak/soggy front brake until I cycled the lever a few times. Not sure if I need to do a better job bleeding and/or filling my front brake reservoir but I stopped doing so recently. I just use cheap hooks on the wall or ceiling depending on the length of the bike, for the other bikes and it does save space. BTW, my wife has more bikes than me (at least bikes without motors) so we actually need two rooms for our fleet. Plus my motos and her car in the garage. Tacoma? Out on the street.
