Anybody know ARs? I don't but I want to make this long range gun more of a personal/home defense gun. It was a built up from scratch gun so I think I legally will not have an issue turning it into a pistol if I want but I do have some questions. Namely what parts do I need? I could keep it simple and just buy a new upper but I could probably save some money just getting a new barrel and foregrip right? I know I'll need to swap the stock to a brace too. Any help is appreciated, also if yall have any parts to sell/trade let me know.

I’ll defer to those that know more than I do, but you’d prolly come out just a cheap just buying a pistol upper that’s already assembled and a brace. Sell the rifle upper and stock and call it good. Neither of those parts require any background checks or anything so you can buy online and ship to home.

Look at PSA if you want something fairly inexpensive that’s already assembled

I was looking on their site yesterday, seem like a great price point, are they decent?

They certainly aren’t bad for me. Heard mixed reviews, but I’ve owned two different PSA builds and never had any issues

As long as they are reliable that's all I care about, accuracy isn't as important as it will for short range. I have plenty of accurate long range guns.
