It was really good. I’m happy with my first batch of cheddar and pepper jack

I need to do another batch but do more now that I’m happy with the turn out

35 is an hour away from me. Although when I get on it usually am headed North, and go through Wi. and catch it toward the Northern end of it. Where it ends. Was just there last weekend an hour North of where it ends in Duluth.

First time I had grits was in the Navy on board ship, and thought it was cream of wheat. I ended up spitting it out. OK looking at that, I must try again!

I have the 6 qt. IP and really like it. A lot

Still like to grill what I can first, even in a blizzard and on the gasser. What ever it takes.

But also can make a mean tater tot casserole in it too with no grilling required

When I first moved here I was introduced to Iowa jokes very quickly. Personally I like Iowa, when I drove cross country on I-80 back in the 70's except for gas and passing out in a gas station to get a couple hours sleep I made one stop. Brownells in Iowa to pick up a gunsmith screwdriver set that I still have. Signed the guest book there back then.

Looks great! Grilled romaine with EVOO or Avocado oil with Chicago or Montreal seasoning is one of my favorite sides, that would be icing on the cake for me.
