Need help to install electronics to create beep when locking or unlockin doors with key fob

    2006 Tacoma does not come with "BEEP" when locking or unlocking doors with key fob.
    I can't find thread that explained what parts are needed and how to accomplish this task.
    Thanks for any help.

    Reserected from the dead.
    Do you have electric locks? If yes, the beep might just be turned off thru the cars computer.

    The techstream software can turn it back on.

    I have an 06 and mine does not either. It’s amazing how annoying not having that is, as simple as it is, coming from a previous vehicle that honked when It locked.

    As I understand it all 2006 Tacoma"s came from the factory with no beep installed and I recall posts of the time listing a fix of exactly what and where to install
