Whale Wars?! WTF

When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought it was about fat girls fighting in clubs.

 

That was great............sorry to disappoint.

 

The issue is that the Japanese are being pigs about it and are overfishing/slaughtering the whales. There are no infinite number of whales. They are depleting them to the point where the whales cannot reproduce fast enough. There's got to be a limit put in place. Look around and you'll see that all our valuable resources are being exploited & depleted by corporate greed. That's what drives this madness.

Obviously, diplomacy has failed with the Japanese whale fishing industry and no conservation/environmental watchdog groups are able to reason with them. They are just gonna keep doing what they do regardless of the potentially disastrous outcome. Therefore, extreme measures are needed to bring light onto the subject. Even if it means risking their own precious lives. If it weren't for individuals like Watson, who will keep these large, greedy corporations in check? It takes nerves of steel to do what they are doing. Would any of you be brave enough? I know I'm not.

There's more important issues in life other than Tacomas. You can't go about life with your blinders on. Somebody has to do something about it. If anything, it's made us aware of the issue. And you've got to respect that.

 

Stuff a few of these into a whale carcass and troll them in front of the whalers, they will get the message real quick.

Now I will have you know that eventhough I am not of legal age to vote, smoke, or drink, I AM of legal age to fight for our country. Which is precisely what I am beginning on October 5th. So when you talk down to me who can't legally vote, smoke, or drink, just remember that the young American you are speaking to at least has the balls, that you lack, to fight for his beloved country. That is true however when something is illegal it is just that illegal. What they are doing is illegal! The Japs are still doing wrong but sadly it is within their rights to do so. However it is very wrong for countries with their own problems to over extend their reach and try to fix (criminally) what another nation does when they have plenty of problems back home to atend to first. I'll use the human child as my only example, there are tons of them that could use help. Most probably right in their home towns. Reguardless of how wrong the whalers are the others are a tad bit more so as their actions are illegal.

its sad how your using your future service to this country to make yourself think youre a man or better than us civilians. i tried enlisting, i lost 30 lbs in a month to try to get in, and thanks to a dick recruiter and me being a dumbass like yourself (also 17 btw), lost it in unhealthy ways. ways that have affected and will affect me for the rest of my life. so dont give me this crap of how your some sort of golden child cause your serving. when you damage your body to try and serve your country or when you serve 2+ deployments like friends of mine have, then come talk to me
