Was going thru my engine bay this afternoon trying to trace down what might be causing my LTFT at idle to be so high (~17). Looking for unplugged vacuum lines or a cracked manifold, I actually found a line I left disconnected during my valve cover gasket DIY. This vacuum line runs “thru” a red dual prong female connector and is pretty much dead center of the truck, right behind the upper intake manifold. It’s the only red connector I’ve seen on the truck, and as far as I can tell there aren’t any electrical dongles unplugged. Curious if anyone knows what plugs into this. Truck is a 95.5 3.4L, and it appears to be some type of vacuum switch.

Okay I don't have that part at all.

It is a vacuum switching valve. I can't tell from the pics what it's for but I could definitely see that possibly causing your issue.

Well I probably could have looked a little harder prior to making this thread. I was too busy trying to track down my missing 10mm I guess. Found the male dongle, and plugged it back in. Between that connector and the unplugged vac line I’m sure the truck will run a little better. Currently resetting the ECU, thanks guys
