My version of the abs delete. Lowrange sells the T and union. I reused the short passenger line and another one of the longer lines with the coil from the old system. The longer line went from the T to the passenger caliper. The short line went from the port on the master closest to the cab, to the return on the lspv on the frame. The part number for the new line I bought is 473126A160. This connected the driver caliper to the new T. The lines are very easy to bend to fit the form you want.

The reason I ask is because I had the same issue in DV (granted it was DV and I was loaded up with RTT/rack/and all that major trip stuff, 285s and 15psi).

The situations, as there were two high temp trans oil light indications, were:
    1. Running at 45mph along the notorious washboards between the hot springs and Hunter mountain. On the way up and out of Saline Valley about 1 mile from top/intersection, the warning light came on. Immediately stopped, shut down, checked the trans fluid level, looked short, fashioned a funnel out of an octane booster bottle, waited 15 minutes and continued up to the top of Hunter Mt.
    2. Running West Side rd that is, well, west of Bad Water Basin; full of washboards, gravel, washes that are 1'-1.5' deep and under sea level. Ripping along at 45mph (yep, video prove of it) and up pops the high temp trans oil light indicator again!! Immediate stop, attempt to cool down in 90+ degrees and slowly drive up and out to Bad Water Basin. Headed to Furnace Creek and it was 92 in the shade. I tapped out at that point due to concerns of transmission failure out in the middle of DV and 1200 miles from home.

Were you out in Furnace Creek in the summer? That takes some balls if so haha. Hottest air temp on record out there. Just checked and it's a cool (comparatively) 113˚ right now.

I've also heard great things about the Motorcraft manual trans oil (XT-M5 I think), but it's really expensive.

did you notice any deterioration of shifting quality with redline? I just want to make sure it lasts a long time considering the price. Should I just get a gallon to be safe?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I think, one thing about the Champion is it doesn't hang the trans cooler down far enough to expose the Trans cooler to the wind. Not sure how it is on your truck (with your bumper), but I know with my Trail Gear bumper the entire trans cooler section of the radiator is obscured from the wind.

just ordered a gallon of mt90, I'm guessing that's enough for the tranny. I can never remember how much I need, all I know is the manual isn't accurate

The gallon jug is enough, that's what I order every time I do it. Shifts nice and smooth through the whole interval until the next change.

The gallon is 4qts and the transmission takes just under 3 iirc. I always have a bit left over.

Made a skid plate for my truck this past weekend since the stock one was missing. I don't go off road with it yet but will in the future when I move back to PA so I made it out of 3/16''. Used the templates from a thread I found on here of homemade ones, just had to tweak it a little. Also had a sticking drivers side caliper so upgraded to tundra 13wl calipers and rotors. Major improvement on stopping power since adding the tires and wheels really affected the braking. Overall super happy with the new brakes.

Don't think it'll make a difference. The trans cooler is just a finned bulb in the end takes, technically they're never exposed to airflow because they're behind the plastic or aluminum. The trans cooler takes up 0% of the finned space that makes up the exterior of the radiator. To clarify, I mean the difference between the stock and champion rad.

Read again, added on, pressed send a sentance early. I was more talking about your earlier comparison about the stock and champion rad being different sizes and positions relative to the bumper. I'm sure the fans in your pic will help tho
