BFG KM3... Drove home and took em back off, I got too many miles to drive lately to run em.

 

Arb bumper turn signals replacement.
These cheap ones for ebay were too big. But I kind of like the amber lens better than the all clear of the below replacements.



QVEE QVBBAWS straight from Australia. Dangit, gonna go around with a lazy eye because I need more 3-way connectors.

While installing the turn signals I noticed some tearing on my Core Support. I thought the tearing from dual batteries was in a different location than this, and I don't have dual batteries under the hood..

my truck did that when I replaced the core support bushings. I may have used too much persuasion making them fit

 

Well damn, ya try to do something good and get hosed..

probably not from twisting the chassis climbing over stuff, hangin tires, crossing ditches..... all that motion has to go somewhere....

 

This is under the headlights isn't it? Drill a hole at the end of the crack it'll stop there just a small one. Mine is doing that as well, and I have seen a lot of others that it's starting on or has happened to.

This is what I am thinking the cause it. Even with flexy rubber bushings the frame twists a lot and then twists the body and it starts cracking. This is also probably where the hood misalignment issue stems from too.

 

Just one of those backburner ideas. I need to fix the cheap chinese Relay box that I installed to run my pump before this comes about.

Finally getting my ass in gear to cut my ARB bumper. I'm not sure how much I want to take off. Here's a line at 1" and 1.5".




Reference from @NYCO cutting for 34" tires. I don't care for the round cut though.

 

I think 1.5” looks better.

 

I'm also thinking more so I don't have to do it again if I cut too little. I may see how 2" looks..?

 

I've also been pestering @Red Baron and others about welding lol. Starting to upgrade my setup. Picked up this HF cart that I've already got mod ideas for and ordered a flowmeter for gas.

Had rigged up this little Hobart I picked up cheap on Craigslist with a Lincoln lead because the correct Hobart lead is stupid expensive if you can find it. I was just using flux core so it was fine. Decided I was going to get gas so I wanted a better solution so I found this Euro style lead connector. The gun still uses Lincoln/Tweco consumables!

 

It was already not set up for gas?
